THE CARE OF OUR PRODUCTS
The best thing we can do for the environment as consumers is to use our workwear for as long as possible. We should bear in mind that washing, ironing or drying our textiles is just as stressful as using them at work. That is why we recommend that you only wash our products when it is really necessary.
WHICH PRODUCTS DO I WASH AND HOW?
Organic cotton products
All KAYA&KATO products made of organic cotton are generally washable at 60°C. However, to protect the environment and the material, we recommend washing at 40°C. Workwear made from organic cotton should also be cleaned with a mild detergent and dried gently on the line.
Clean Ocean products / products with recycled PET
All products from the Clean Ocean collection with recycled plastic waste from the sea can be washed at 60-90°C, are suitable for tumble drying and can be dry cleaned.
HOME Collection
Our HOME COLLECTION offers beautiful, bright bib aprons that bring colour to everyday life. However, frequent hot washing in professional bulk laundries can cause colours and bands to fade. To preserve the bright colours, we recommend gentle washing at 40°C with a mild detergent in a standard washing machine for our HOME COLLECTION.
Stubborn stains can be removed with denatured alcohol or isopropyl alcohol. The use of bleach destroys the fabric, causes colours to fade and pollutes the environment.
