NOMINATED FOR THE GERMAN SUSTAINABILITY AWARD 2021
In a multi-actor partnership with Elmer & Zweifel and IBM and together with our partner company Gulu Agricultural Development Company from Uganda, we have been nominated for the German Sustainability Award "Corporate Partnerships" for our blockchain.

WINNER OF THE INTERGASTRA INNOVATION AWARD 2020
In February 2020, we were awarded with the INTERGASTRA innovation prize in the “Sustainability” category for our concept of sustainable workwear. The INTERGASTRA innovation award is a coveted industry award that honors innovative products, technologies and strategies in the out-of-home market. The prize is awarded by Messe Stuttgart, the Allgemeine Hotel- und Gastronomie-Zeitung and DEHOGA Baden-Württemberg for promising ideas.

NOMINATED FOR THE INTERNORGA FUTURE PRIZE 2019
As one of three finalists, we were nominated in 2019 for our concept of sustainable workwear for the INTERNORGA Future Prize 2019 in the category "Trendsetter Product - Technology & Equipment". The prize is a coveted industry prize that honors innovative products, technologies and strategies in the out-of-home market. The prize is awarded by INTERGORGA and Messe Hamburg and evaluated in advance by a specialist jury.

WINNER OF THE ROLLING PIN NEWCOMER & INNOVATION AWARD 2018
At the Chefdays 2018, KAYA&KATO received the Newcomer & Innovation Award from ROLLING PIN magazine for its innovative workwear concept. The ROLLING PIN is a German-language specialist magazine for the gastronomy industry. Every year, the ROLLING PIN organizes the largest and most important gastronomy and food symposium in Europe with top speakers from all over the world.

NOMINATED FOR THE 2018 FEDERAL ECO DESIGN PRIZE
With the design of our basic chef's jacket made of pure organic cotton, KAYA&KATO was nominated for the Federal Ecodesign Award in 2018. The chef's jacket then went to a traveling exhibition through Germany.
