What the world needs now...

What the world needs now... - What the world needs now...

Being part of the difference – that's what the brand KAYA&KATO stands for. But what exactly does that entail? Our founder, Stefan Rennicke, has been involved in sustainable concepts for decades. During his long tenure at the German UNESCO Commission, he delved into numerous CSR concepts and engaged in direct dialogue with cotton farmers in Uganda. Part of the cotton used for KAYA&KATO customers comes from here. And now, it is he who wants to largely banish the word sustainability from the company's external communication.

Because for KAYA&KATO, a concept that puts the environment and people at the forefront is embedded in the company's DNA. His message: "Transparent supply chains are a given for us. What we also offer are new, cool looks that turn workwear into fashion."

This is also what Bernd Keller wants – and both benefit mutually from their expertise. For the designer, styles for hotels pose a new and exciting challenge – as he was primarily responsible for pure fashion lines in his career stints at Marc O'Polo and Hugo Boss, among others. But this is precisely the path that Bernd Keller is now continuing to pursue together with KAYA&KATO: turning workwear into fashion.

The challenge lies in industrial laundry – as most materials cannot withstand the high demands. Therefore, KAYA&KATO has treated and wash-tested fabrics. The result: A fashion line à la Bernd Keller, which is now gradually being used in Dorint Hotels. The renowned fashion photographer Stefan Rappo also elevates the collection to a new fashion level. With stunning light effects and a completely new staging of workwear, he showcases surprising facets of the new workwear line. What the world needs now: Sustainable workwear at fashion level. Dorint leads the way.
